The Hike For Homeless Is An Event Aimed At Creating Awareness For The Issues Surrounding Homelessness.


The Hike for Homeless is an event aimed at creating awareness for the issues surrounding homelessness. It also aims to provide awareness around the changing service system for those that need Specialist Homelessness Services. Funds raised through this event will be put back into the communities in which the event will be held in early intervention and prevention programs.

The 2016 Hike for Homeless will take place throughout the Moree Plains Shire. We are walking 393km from Moree to Garah, Mungindi, Boomi, Boggabilla, Croppa Creek back to Moree Holding Community BBQ’s Along the Way Register to Walk or come support us by purchasing a Hike Shirt or Hat So come join us and find out more about our services and how we support the local community. If you are feeling enthusiastic come walk with us, even for a day. We will be walking into each town the following dates and we would love to see you there:
